Dr. Lucas Hann was born and raised in Newfoundland, and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Memorial University of Newfoundland. His experiences during this time lead him to pursue his training as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS – NSCA, USA) and his Exercise Therapist Certificate though the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiologist ( CSEP-ET). Upon University graduation, he became a Certified Kinesiologist and started working for a private interdisciplinary medical rehab clinic.
Dr. Hann graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2009 with a Doctorate degree, and has since been committed to evidence informed and conventional health care. Although Dr. Hann treats a wide variety of patients and conditions, he has special interest in movement and movement quality. Perusing studies in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, Selective Functional Movement Screening and the Titleist Performance Institute, has allowed Dr. Hann to serve both his athletic and sedentary patient population in a way that is unique to central Alberta. He strives to instill an active component of care into each patient empowering them to achieve their maximum movement capabilities. With specialist courses in the area of pain, movement analysis and movement related pathologies, Dr. Hann aims to provide the very latest, up to date skills on pain management and optimal performance.
Dr. Hann has been practicing Chiropractic in Red Deer since 2009 and his practice approach consists of a combination of diversified Chiropractic care, ART, DNS, SFMA, Graston therapy, Active Release technique, TPI analysis, gait/running performance analysis, and exercise prescription.
