Calvin Anderson studied at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon where he earned his Bachelors of Science degree, Masters in Exercise and Sports Science degree, and his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree this past March. He was born in Stettler, Alberta and raised in Leduc, Alberta and Abbotsford, BC. Upon graduation from high school, Calvin spent 3 years studying at the University of Alberta, majoring in developmental biology and physiology.
Calvin’s passion for chiropractic began at a young age, having been a chiropractic patient since he was 6 weeks old. As a youth he played competitive hockey and rugby and the treatments he received from chiropractors over those years helped him to recover from injuries faster and gave him a competitive edge during competition. Although he enjoys working with a wide variety of patients and conditions, working with high school athletes is Calvin’s passion, which is why he has focused his studies on sports medicine, functional movement and rehabilitation.
Calvin believes in using a variety of techniques such as diversified adjusting, instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation, pin and stretch, taping and rehabilitation. He is determined to continue expanding his knowledge base and technique through seminars and workshops in order to provide the best quality of care for his patients.
